Starla is a Distinguished Fellow of the British Gemological Association, a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America, and a Certified Gemologist Appraiser with the American Gem Society.  Her gemological education combined with a Bachelors of Education and twenty five years in the jewelry industry gives her the experience and knowledge to provide you with thorough coverage of the diamond and colored stone world.   She is a tutor for the British Gemological Association and the current global Chair of the Gemological Institute of Americas (GIA) Alumni Association.  Starla teaches Gemology and Diamond Grading.
