Learn unique ways to fabricate romantic settings to showcase your gemstones. This class opens up lots of possibilities for simple and elegant settings. Projects include a “V-prong” setting for a faceted stone on a ring with a forged shank, a pierced four-prong square cabochon pendant and bail assembled without solder, a pierced six-prong cabochon setting, a carved thick-wall bezel pendant for a high-dome cabochon and more. Learn step-by-step methods for planning, measuring, layout, forging, forming, sawing, drilling, piercing, filing, carving, dapping, soldering, and setting stones. Prerequisite: Fabrication 2. 24 hours
