Instructor: Michael David Sturlin
Forging is one of the oldest, most basic and most effective metal forming techniques. An essential skill for goldsmiths and jewelry makers, forging employs hammers to shape and stretch metal in different ways. In this class, expert instruction is followed by your own hands on exploration of the process. Learn to feel comfortable using a hammer, anvil and mandrel as you create classic and creative rings in copper and silver. 16 hours
