Instructor: Yas Tanaka
The beauty of classical bezel setting lies in its simplicity and
perfect execution, both of which often elude bench jewelers. Guided by your instructor, a master goldsmith and setter, explore the aesthetics and technical requirements of heavy-wall bezels for cabochons and faceted gems. Learn to plan, fabricate, and set heavy round, square, and tapered bezels. Prerequisite: Fabrication 2 and Setting 1 or experience. 24 hours
This elective will not be offered this semester. Please check back next term.
