Learn this awesome Korean surface technique of bonding pure gold foil over silver (Sterling, fine silver, PMC and Argentium). Keum-boo offers dramatically rich colors and beautiful textural possibilities, opening a whole palette of effects to explore, as well as enhancing the perceived value of the jewelry. Begin by fabricating a pair of dangle earrings and a pendant in sterling. Then learn the step-by-step process of depletion silvering and adding gold with keum-boo. Bring scrap 24k gold and make your own gold foil. Prerequisite: Fabrication 1 or experience. 8 hours
