Every bench jeweler needs to know the basics of working with this special metal. As an introduction to platinum for those with little or no prior experience, this class covers basic fabrication, polishing, soldering, welding, and more. You will learn to size platinum rings, cast an ingot, anneal, roll, and draw platinum wire. Prerequisite: Fabrication 3 or experience. 8 hours
