Learn to make a variety of simple clasps, end caps, connectors, bails and findings for jewelry. This class is perfect for students who want to create handmade components to complete their jewelry and for those taking Hand Crochet Chains (see page 10.) Instruction combines traditional goldsmithing techniques such as forging, forming, filing, swaging, sawing and piercing to produce jewelry components. Learn how to make patterns and prototypes for multiples, plan production sequences, and develop unique design ideas. 16 hours
