Instructor: Christine Dhein
If you are new to soldering or if you just want to improve your torch techniques, this class is for you. Instruction covers theory and practice with demos and hands on torch time. Learn to handle a torch with confidence and accuracy. Learn to use solder snippets, balls, and paste in pick soldering, tension soldering and more. Learn to solder long seams, use different temperature grades, as well as how to make and use soldering clips, jigs and more. Build skills for soldering success! Prerequisite: Fabrication 1 or basic soldering experience. 16 hours
