Instructor: Michael David Sturlin
Wire wrapping is a popular technique that enables anyone to make jewelry with just a few basic tools. Since the work is accomplished entirely with cold connections and soldering is not necessary, this technique is highly portable and endlessly adaptable. Class covers the tools and process of wire wrapping; wire sizes, shapes and temper; basic elements and structures; advanced designs and principles. Working with copper and silver, students construct a variety of projects including: swirl rings, band rings, bezels, pendants, prong settings and cuff bracelets.16 hours
