This fast-paced, information-rich class covers step-by-step construction methods for making an array of findings and mechanisms. Instruction covers fabrication and soldering principles for pin backs, pin locking catches, necklace tubing catches, box catches, basic hinges and a number of related clasps. Add a range of solutions to your complex jewelry, as you learn to implement these techniques. Production aids and bench tricks will be discussed. Bring a sharp pencil and be prepared to take notes. Prerequisite: Fabrication 2 or experience.
Charles Lewton-Brain will also teach Fold Forming, April 28-29, 2012.
