Learn chasing and repoussé in the Italian style. Guided by an Italian master who is heir to a long lineage of metalworkers, students learn the classical Italian approach to creating reliefs and forms in sheet metal. Students learn to make several specialized tools, such as iron prick-punches. Participants begin by creating a dragonfly in relief, followed by the design and execution of their own design. Students should bring a jewelry design with fruit, flowers, or an abstract image. Open to all levels
