Inventive Forming

Learn to combine both form and function in your jewelry by creating customized findings and using unusual assembly processes. Your expert instructor will demonstrate her original engineering concepts and teach you how to apply them to your own work. Learn time-saving ways to form, measure, cut, and connect sheet and wire, all with specialized tools you will engineer specifically for your designs. Learn to make tools and jigs from Aquaplast®, a thermal plastic, plus hard plastics, wood and tool steel. Prerequisite: Fabrication 1 or experience.

Jayne Redman is an award-winning jewelry designer whose work is exhibited in galleries across the country. Her work has been featured in AJM, Lapidary Journal, and Ornament Magazine.
