Loop-in-Loop Chains

For over 5,000 years, jewelers have created chains from links of precious metal. Learn ancient techniques for constructing loop-in-loop chains in fine silver. Starting with the basic weave, which is 5,000 years old, instruction progresses through more complex variations. Learn to fuse, form and weave links of wire into an array of captivating patterns. The use of terminations and simple clasps will be presented. Students can either make a set of sample patterns or develop fewer, more complete projects. Prerequisite: Fabrication 2 or experience.

Register Now - Apr 18 - Apr 19 class

Jean Stark will also teach Ancient Rings.
