Bench jewelers need to know how to work with this special metal more than ever before. As an introduction to platinum for those with little or no prior experience, this class covers basic fabrication, soldering, welding, polishing, and more. You will learn to solder and size platinum rings, cast an ingot, step roll and draw wire, construct a tapered bezel pendant with a fancy gallery and set a faceted stone in platinum. *Price fluctuates with metal market. Prerequisite: Fabrication 3 or experience. 24 hours
