Jewelers of America Bench Jeweler Certification

JEWELRY TECHNICIAN (JT) - a condensed program of 11 classes totaling 235 hours of instruction focused on the essential bench skills needed to enter the field. Taken individually, tuition for classes is $4999plus $700 in kit fees. Required tools are an additional cost. This course is preparation for JA® Level One: Certified Bench Jeweler Technician™.

JEWELRY TECHNICIAN INTENSIVE(JT) - offers the same diploma as the Jewelry Technician. However, it is 85 hours longer and tuition costs $6999 for 320 hours of instruction. Materials kit fees are $745. This course is preparation for JA® Level One: Certified Bench Jeweler Technician™.

GRADUATE JEWELER (GJ) - a well-rounded program of 22 classes. The program covers a range of professional skills as a foundation for a career in jewelry. Course work can be completed either by taking the Jewelry Technician Intensive followed by the additional required classes in the Open Session (545 hours, $12,028 tuition +$1,179 kit fees) or by taking all 22 classes individually during one of more Open Session (460 hours, $10,028 tuition + $1,129 kit fees).Required tools are an addiditional cost. This course is preparation for JA® Level Two: Certified Bench Jeweler™.
