Using materials like foil, board, and paper, you will discover that designing jewelry is not only lots of fun but also surprisingly easy. Workshop combines lectures, visual presentations, field trips, guided creativity, individual exploration, group discussion, systematic skill building, and guest professional designers. Participants are guaranteed to develop at least 100 seeds for new jewelry designs that never existed before as you increase your understanding of design theory and gain confidence designing on your own. Open to all levels.

His designs have won several international prizes including: Paragon: Pearl Award, German Kontraste Prize, Jewelers of America: Jewel Award, Diamonds International: two-time finalist, Japanese International Cultured Pearl Association Award, Pacific Jewelry Show: Best Collection Trophy, American Jewelry Manufacturer: Vision Award. Alan was awarded the CDG: Hall of Fame Award and was included in JCK magazine’s list of the most influential people in the jewelry industry.
