Here is a chance to loosen up and expand your definition of “stone setting.” Explore uncommon methods for holding and integrating objects, from gems to organics, in jewelry. Participants may develop a completed piece or make a series of capturing solutions. Among the topics discussed: cold connecting, caging, back setting and certain advanced soldering techniques. A wide variety of tricks, short cuts and tips will be offered as the need arises. Prerequisite: Fabrication 1 or experience. Andy will also teach Surfaces, April 12-13.
