$349 + $80 kit + $40 tool kit*
April 12-13
One of the most beautiful ways to use enamels is in the cloisonné style, in which small cells of enamel are separated by metal wires. This 2-day workshop focuses on cloisonné enameling on fine silver using wet inlay, which is also appropriate for champlevé and limoges enameling. Learn to bend wires to make cells, how to blend transparent colors to achieve value gradations, how to use metal foil in enameling, as well as washing and storing enamel, creating matt and gloss finishes and more. Simple setting techniques will also be discussed.  All levels are welcome. Linda will also teach Exploring Enameling, April 7-11.
*Required tool kit can be used for both of Linda Darty’s enameling classes.
