Exploring Enameling with Linda Darty 
April 7-11 $899 + $130 kit + $40 tool kit*
Enamels add color, depth, and countless design opportunities to jewelry. This survey of enameling presents a variety of traditional and experimental techniques so that students can choose to explore those that they like best. Students gain skill working with opaque and transparent colors, sifting, painting, wet inlaying, and firing with a torch and kiln. Discussion includes metal fabrication, finishing techniques, cold connections as well as soldering before, during and after enameling. All levels are welcome.
Linda will also teach Cloisonné Enameling, April 12-13.

Linda Darty is Chairperson of the metals program at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. She has an extenive national and international exhibition record, is teh author of The Art of Enameling and recipient of The Lifetime Achievement Award from The Enamelist Society. Her work is in numerous public and private collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
