| Enamel is a versatile medium that can be used to create a range of colors from shimmering golds and blues to muted tones resembling stone. Fusing enamel with a torch offers a direct approach to this transformation process. Day one focuses on color and design. Day two explores enameling on 3-D forms using creative fabrication and soldering techniques. Design, enamel application and effective use of the torch will be the technical focus throughout the class. Prerequisite: Fabrication 1 or experience. |
